That was a terrible article. Not because i disagree with it, but simply because it was so terribly and unconvincingly argued. He just looks like an idiot- speaking of unknowns like the behaviors of neaderthals as facts (and their excinction), bringing up the name of science yet backing his arguments with no scientific knowns. Terrible argumentation, not to mention the fact that he clearly still buys into all these arbitrary dualities (that emotional/intellectual divide... which is platonic to the nth degree, by the way) Then he has the gall to tell me that plato was wrong (because of dictators?) his whole framework rests on platonic assumptions.
Oh, and its also suggesting that language is seperate from music, that language is the measure of intelligence- what evidence is there for either of those things?
...consequently, im thinking about setting the text to music. A song cycle perhaps? "Ode to music"
